These photos are from Jan. 3, 2014. Visibility was about 20 feet, but it was a dark day on the surface so it was also dark underwater. On the deeper reefs (60-70' deep) it was hard to see anything without a light. With so little ambient light, it was difficult to take the kind of wide-angle photos I wanted. My strobe tended to overpower everything. Some sealions swooped around a few times as expected for this area at this time of year, but they didn't slow down enough or come close enough for more than a few blurry photos.
