These photos are from July 5, 2020. As I mentioned before, I wanted to have a look at a different rocky area straight out from the entry point. In the past, I  usually dove the rocky slope near shore out to the right. Visibility in the shallows was only 8' or so.
        I reached the rocky area that drops to about 80' deep near shore. Below 30' deep, visibility opened up to over 60'.
        I followed my compass across the narrow, sandy gap towards the new rocky area that I wanted to visit.
        The reef was a big rock mound. It was about 60' deep at the top and sloped down on the East side to around 110' deep. I only had time to swim around this East side of the reef. It was mostly covered with feather stars. There were only a few fish (some small quillback and copper rockfish and kelp greenlings). I saw a couple of boot sponges and crimson anemones.
        I swam back across the sandy gap to the rocky slope near shore.
