I spent almost a week on Grand Cayman Island in early-mid April, 2018. I was there to visit my sister, but I also got a few dives in. The Cayman Islands are often considered to have the best diving in the Caribbean. This is mostly because of the famous bottomless wall surrounding the islands. To see the best of the Caymans underwater, you need to take a boat charter to reach the wall. I dove from shore instead. This might seem like a wasted opportunity, but I was happy to drive around the coastline and explore the underwater world on my own.
