These photos are from Dec. 18, 2015. There was a milky layer of fresh water in the top 10-15' which reduced the light down deeper. Below the shallows visibility was maybe 20-30'.
        I went down deeper to around 120'. There were several mating lingcod and a school of yellowtail rockfish. I've been visiting a cloud sponge here over the last decade and have watched it slowly being broken apart. Today it was completely gone. Only a few broken stumps were left on the rock to show where it was.
