This is another of the perfect little sandy beaches up around Westpunt marred only by the crowds and the covering of rentable beach chairs.
We came across a large purple tube. I at first thought it was a salp, but later read that it was a pyrosome, another kind of pelagic tunicate colony. Apparently they are highly bioluminescent so it would have been pretty dramatic to see at night.
We saw another pyrosome on this side of the bay, but it was more transparent and harder to see.
