These photos are from Jan. 23, 2022. I did another dive earlier in the day, taking video at the far wall here. I usually preferred that area over the last few years since it had the most rare yelloweye rockfish I've seen anywhere. Today though, they were all gone, along with most of the other rockfish there. For this second dive, I dove along the more popular and well-known wall that runs around the point. Visibility was mostly 40-50'. The overcast, foggy weather on the surface made it darker than usual underwater. My maximum depth was just over 100' deep. My opinion of this site is the same as when I first dove it. I find it doesn't have as much marine life as many of the other local Nanoose-area sites. It especially seems to be empty of fish. I only saw 2 kelp greenlings, a painted greenling and a small lingcod during the entire dive.
