This is another of the small-ish pocket sandy beaches bordered by cliffs along the North-West end of Curacao that in hindsight are hard to tell apart. This one is free to get in and like many of the others is crowded and covered with rentable beach chairs. Like the others, it's otherwise very pretty and if you have no sense of personal space it would be a great place to hang around for half a day. This beach doesn't have a restaurant, but there is a kind of snack bar/concession stand selling not-very-delicious Dutch snacks like kroket (slimy deep-fried meat paste) and frikandel (sort of like a hot dog). This beach has a rubble breakwater at one end protecting a boat launch area where there are jet ski and clear-hulled boat tours.
The area around the rubble breakwater had a few turtles swimming around. I think this beach is known to be a good spot to reliably see turtles. I'm not sure why they hang out here, but I assume they were eating the algae on the rocks.
