These photos are from July 16, 2022. Visibility was only 3' in the shallows. Below 12' deep, it cleared slightly to about 10'. Because of the bad visibility and the darkness, I spent about half the dive swimming around back and forth over the mud trying to find the good area with all the rockfish. I had to surface a few times to see where I was, but eventually I found it. I didn't see the vermilion rockfish this time, but I did see a tiger rockfish (it hid under the boulder pile so I couldn't get a photo).
